Homeside Properties Presents Check from Associa Cares to Fire Victims
|
Funds to Assist Family with Rebuilding Expenses
Roswell, GA October 13, 2010 - Homeside Properties, an Associa company, with the help of Associa Cares, recently donated $1,500 each to two local homeowners who, unfortunately, lost their homes in an electrical fire.
The fire started in the attic of the first home and quickly spread to the second home, eventually rendering both houses as total losses due to fire and water damage.
“It was such a pleasure to help these individuals, and we are glad they are all safe,” said Kelley Brewster, Homeside Properties President and CEO. “They were truly deserving of the help, and I am glad Associa Cares was able to quickly arrange for the donation in their time of need.
This gesture is just another example of Homeside Properties’s commitment to philanthropy through Associa Cares. In March, Homeside Properties held a bowl-a-thon that raised nearly $11,000 for Associa Cares and pushed the organization’s contribution total to over $1 million. Homeside Properties has now decided to host a bowl-a-thon annually to help raise funds for Associa Cares.
